We will pass by Snoqualmie Falls, one of Washington State's most popular scenic attractions visited by 1.5 million visitors every year, then head to a traditional German Village.

Snoqualmie Falls

This waterfall is located in Washington, in the greater Seattle area, along the river of the same name. The falls and the town gained international recognition when they were used as filming locations for the hit show "Twin Peaks."

German Town

Explore the German village 2.5 hours northwest from Seattle. In autumn, the maple leaves are a sight to see! The town of Leavenworth was across the Wenatchee River from Icicle and was named Leavenworth the same year the rail construction began. Captain Charles Leavenworth, president of the Okanogan Investment Company, purchased the land in the present-day downtown and laid streets parallel to the new railroad tracks. Railroad construction was completed during the winter of 1893. Lafayette Lamb and his brother, Chancery Lamb arrived in 1903 from Iowa to build the second largest sawmill in Washington state. In winter, the town is covered by white snow and holiday decorations. Lovely atmosphere can be found here all year round. Enjoy shopping for delicate European souvenirs and famous German food and beer, or try on traditional German clothes.

Seattle, located between King County, Puget Sound and Lake Washington, is a seaport city in Washington State and a commercial center of northwestern United States. In many people's minds, Seattle may call to mind the classic movie "Sleepless in Seattle", the futuristic landmark Space Needle, or the strong coffee aroma of the world's first Starbucks, opened in 1971 at Pike Place Market.

Sky View Observatory at Columbia Center

Sky View Observatory at Columbia Center, is one of Seattle's new landmarks and one of the most popular observatories. Take the elevator to the sightseeing floor and enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of downtown Seattle: the Ferris Wheel, Puget Sound, Space Needle, Microsoft, Mt. Rainier and more. You can also experience the world's most advanced 360-degree full-screen tower elevator experience. With a full-screen around the whole compartment, the elevator tells the story of Mt. Rainier on the way up and talks about the establishment of the city of Seattle on the way down.

Pike Place Market

One of the oldest farmers' markets in the United States, the Pike Place Market first opened in 1909 - more than 100 years ago. The still-thriving market overlooks Elliot Bay and sees more than 10 million visitors every year.

Space Needle

This icon of the American Northwest has lent its likeness to everything from movie screens to postage stamps. Built in 1961 for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle features outdoor elevators and a rotating restaurant at its top.

MoPOP

The museum, located at the foot of the Space Needle, was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and designed by avant garde designer Frank Gehry. Its colorful appearance is made up by 3000 pieces of metal, representing the strength of music and the beauty of flowing.

Chihuly Glass Garden

This magnificent garden is an exhibit at the Seattle Center that displays the incredible glassworks of Dale Chihuly. The facility includes a garden, a glasshouse, interior exhibits, and a theater. Inside the glasshouse is a 100 foot long structure.

Pioneer Square

Pioneer Square in southwest Seattle, Washington is both the name of a neighborhood and the name of its central square. The Pioneer Square-Skid Road Historic District is listed on the United States' National Register of Historic Places.

The Museum of Flight

The Museum of Flight is the largest independent, non-profit air and space museum in the world! It is located at the southern end of King County International Airport (Boeing Field), south of Seattle. With over 175 aircraft and spacecraft, tens of thousands of artifacts, millions of rare photographs, dozens of exhibits and experiences, and a world-class library, the Museum and its people bring mankind's incredible history of flight to life.
